WoW Insider’s on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.

Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the last several months, you ought to be keenly aware that Blizzard is just about ready to unleash patch 4.3 upon us all. With transmogrification, void storage, a new island to explore, three new heroics, a brand new raid boss, a multitude of class changes, a new legendary, and a new level of raid difficulty, patch 4.3 has something for just about everyone! Except for those living in caves. You can pretty much continue your cave existence, if that’s really up your alley and all that.

Today we’ve got a few more posts from around the blogosphere with guides and discussion for the upcoming patch.

Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.

Blizzard has just posted a comprehensive guide to patch 4.3: Hour of Twilight on the WoW community blog. Players anxious for the new patch can check out all of the new features coming with the patch including the new Dragon Soul raid, three 5-man heroic dungeons, new tier armor for each class, transmogrification, void storage, and more. There are even relevant links to blog posts from the developers that outline the future of WoW as it pertains to patch 4.3 and sneak peeks at the creation of the patch.

This post obviously signals the imminent launch of patch 4.3; however, we do not know yet whether this means we’ll be patching up on Nov. 29 or Dec. 6. The PvP season is ending on Nov. 29, which could be the patch day and does sync up with the new Darkmoon Faire island’s being open for the first week of the month. However, Blizzard could use another week after the PvP season ends to tabulate results and dish out rewards to people who were top of the class. In any case, patch 4.3 is upon us.

Every Thursday, WoW Insider brings you Scattered Shots for beast mastery, marksmanship and survival hunters. Frostheim of Warcraft Hunters Union uses logic and science (mixed with a few mugs of Dwarven stout) to look deep into the hunter class. Mail your hunter questions to Frostheim.

BlizzCon this year was a very hunter Blizzcon indeed, filled with big announcements not just about the game in general but about the direction the hunter class is headed. The biggest news shouted around hunter circles was of course the fact that minimum range is finally being removed from the game.

This was one of the biggest points in the hunter class design feedback threads, and it’s a nice indication that Blizzard is indeed paying attention to what the community has to say. (Either that, or the developers also just thought it needed to go, and it’s a crazy, random happenstance that it coincides with community feedback.)

Join me after the cut as we round up all of the hunter news that came out of BlizzCon, very possibly including some news that you haven’t heard from just following the BlizzCon coverage. We’re going to focus just on the hunter-specific news rather than wider game-related news.

Community Manager Zarhym tweeted this afternoon that it’s time to get your appetite whet for some new patch 4.3 information this week. A good way to do that is to look over everything that’s been announced already, and think about what we’d like to see.

Hopefully some more information on class tweaks, story progression, and the new 5-mans will be coming up. And Deathwing, don’t ever forget about him.

Stay tuned to WoW Insider in the coming day, should be interesting!
