In Two Bosses Enter, WoW Insider’s series of fantasy death matches, bosses, leaders, and powerful figures of World of Warcraft face off in the squared circle. Your vote determines who wins and claims the season title.

The votes have been tallied and Brann Bronzebeard, greatest explorer in the history of Azeroth, takes the championship title in the first exhibition season of Two Bosses Enter. With a clear win and holding almost 700 more votes than his opponent, Brann decisively took this match on the road to victory. Not only was Brann a popular contestant on this season of Two Bosses Enter, but commenters were drawn to his haphazard approach to danger and his affinity for unleashing horrors onto Azeroth that will one day need to be slain for loot.

There were some wonderful responses to the final matchup last week in the comments. While I’m not going to be talking about all of them, since many are too long to appropriately format here, I have to highlight all of the spectacular effort in the comments coming up with the fan-made scenarios of these fun matchups. Thank you guys for making Two Bosses Enter fun each and every week.

Now, it’s time for the event you’ve all been waiting for. Brann Bronzebeard takes a decisive victory against his brother, Muradin — but how does the young dwarf out-drink his older and more resilient brother?

Thanks to a tweet from Bashiok and an update to the official announcement, we now know that PvP Season 10 is ending this November 29th. This means that we now know that, since PvP seasons tend to end a week or two before patch drops, it becomes likely that we’ll see Patch 4.3 by the first week of December. Bashiok’s tweet implies that this will be the case.

Since we know now exactly when the PvP season will be ending, you’ll have exactly a week to spend honor for the current season’s conquest point rewards before the new rewards are released alongside patch 4.3.

Brace yourselves for what could be some of most exciting updates to the game recently with patch 4.3. Review the official patch notes, and then dig into what’s ahead: new item storage options, cross-realm raiding, cosmetic armor skinning and your chance to battle the mighty Deathwing — from astride his back!

Season 10 of arenas and rated battlegrounds will be coming to an end as early as next Tuesday, November 15th. Usually, although not always, it means that a major content patch is about two weeks away from the date the season ends.

When the season ends, any conquest points will be converted to honor points. If during the conversion you end up with more honor points than the 4,000 point cap allows, you won’t be able to earn any more honor points until you get yourself below the cap. And if you wait approximately one additional week for season 11 to start, then any honor points above the 4,000 point cap will be converted into 35 silver per point.

The full blue post after the break.

In Two Bosses Enter, WoW Insider’s series of fantasy death matches, the bosses of World of Warcraft face off in the squared circle. Your vote determines who wins and claims the season title.

Last season ended with an epic victory by gun-toting Undead maniac Lord Godfrey’s firing a bullet through readers’ hearts and securing a slick victory over all who challenged him. With patch 4.3 on the horizon, we’ll have a bunch of new dungeon and raid bosses to add to the third season of Two Bosses Enter. Until then, I’ve got a fun series of exhibition matches lined up for readers while we wait for the patch to drop and let players have some time with the new bosses before they enter the ring.

Exhibition season one will pit faction leader against faction leader with a twist. You see, these faction leaders aren’t coming from the Horde or the Alliance. No, readers, these faction leaders are from the secondary and tertiary factions. Hit the jump to hear Tirion, our faithful Two Bosses Enter benefactor and facilitator, announce this exhibition season’s lineup.

While perhaps not technically about World of Warcraft, web series The Guild certainly wears its influences on its sleeve, and if its fifth season is any indication, it’s certainly become quite the phenomenon with the historically fickle geek crowd.

This week’s episode, “Social Traumas,” is an event in and of itself, with cameos from a huge number of fan-favorite geek actors and personalities, from a pair of Dolls to a demigod. Check out the episode above, and see how many nerd points you get for recognizing the cameos (which we’ve conveniently listed for you after the break).

The struggles of everyguild The Knights of Good continues as Codex tries to solve the game’s problems, Clara wedges her way in with the steampunk crowd, and Tinkerbella dons a weird costume replica of herself. Vork and Bladezz continue their con pirate antics with a very special guest star, as their strategy continues to bring in business and Vork rebuffs celebrities.

This episode felt much more transitory than the rest, bridging the two parts of the season together, as most of the first-half conflicts have been solved for Codex, and new revelations and priorities have gripped the guild at the gaming convention. Zaboo’s seat saving business is eventually going to deal with some sort of consequence, which will be pretty fun to watch as his 48-hour no-sleep binge comes to a grinding, probably catastrophic halt. Oh, how we love watching the guild in conflict.

Episode 5 of season 5 of The Guild has our favorite guildies stuck in their hotel room doing their best to raid while the pressures of the gaming convention force everyone to abandon the game to be social. Felicia Day’s character Codex makes some big strides this episode with maybe-real-probably-not love interest Zaboo, new plot points are set up for Tinkerbella at a superhero party, and Vork (Jeff Lewis) continues to be the funniest guy on the internet.

The Guild continues to shine this season after hitting a great stride last season that continues on into season 5. Zaboo’s Master Chief bodyguards are fun, and the Cheesy Pirate Internet Kid videos (especially the one with FemShep) continue to make the show hilarious. Clara’s weird new obsession with steampunk also makes an appearance. Do you love The Guild? We love The Guild.

The Guild airs every Tuesday on Xbox Live and Thursdays on MSN and Bing videos.

If you’re familiar with the many flavors of social awkwardness that convention season brings to the fore (and with BlizzCon around the corner, you may be about to experience some of it) then the fourth episode of Season 5 of The Guild is a love letter to you. It has special guest appearances by Brent Spiner and Grant Imahara, plus you’ll get to watch people doing all the astonishingly painfully awkward things people do at conventions, like dress up like a pirate and mouth off, try to start a relationship, or wear skimpy Princess Leia outfits.

Seriously, why are you still here? I did tell you Brent Spiner was in this, didn’t I?
